The practice of yoga is a journey of self-actualization, shining our truest light, becoming one with all that is.
YOGA CLASSES
Demetra’s yoga classes aim to create mindful presence in our practice and in our lives and incorporate breathwork, meditation and physical postures. Classes are available privately, semi-privately or in a group setting, and can be held in a studio or via Zoom online.
Hatha
Yoga postures are held for longer periods of time as the connection of the breath with the mind and body is explored.
Vinyasa
Invigorating vinyasa classes cultivate present moment awareness, incorporating athleticism into an energizing flow.
Restorative Yoga
Supported yoga postures create space to allow the body to soften and fully relax.
Gentle Hatha/Restorative Yoga with Reiki
This class will bring awareness to where tension and emotions may be held in the body and encourage movement and release. Reiki is offered to students during the restorative portion of the class.
Candlelit Restorative Yoga with Reiki
This restorative yoga class will incorporate Reiki and sound to facilitate a state of deep relaxation.
Yoga for Beginners
Postures and yoga philosophy are explained step by step for new students.
Karma Yoga
Known in Sanskrit as Seva, selfless service lies at the heart of Karma Yoga. The group or individual will offer caring action in a community activity.

Full Moon Healing Circle

The Full Moon marks a time of completion and release in the monthly cycle. This Healing Circle will incorporate movement, Reiki, guided meditation, journaling and sound vibrations as we direct the amplified energy of Full Moon towards our healing, clearing and manifestation. All are welcome!
